We went to the shipyard to lift the boat up, where I replaced the new shaft seal. We got a new seal under warranty from the local Volvo Penta store. However, we had to order a sturdy crane and it cost a lot, but nothing else helped. At the same time, we noticed that the bottom was full of gunk and I tried to remove it with a small pressure washer that I borrowed from the shipyard.

We decided to change the shaft seal. MMG Marine had reserve part and they could organize a crane truck for the next day.
