Pulan lahdella jäimme uuteen Marina Polesanaan kaupungin ulkopuolelle. 

Tuulta oli luvassa paljon seuraaviksi päiviksi, joten päätimme viettää täällä useamman päivän.

Iltaisin Pulan laivatelakan nosturit valaistiin komeasti.

We stayed in the new marina Polesana outside the city in the bay of Pula.

There was a lot of wind in the forecast for the next few days, so we decided to spend several days here.

In the evenings, the cranes of the Pula shipyard were beautifully illuminated.

Sitten ajelimme taxilla Pulaa ihmettelemään. Ensimmäiseksi löysimme vanhan Eifeltornin tappaan niitatun markkinahallin, jonka toisesta kerroksesta löysimme uskomattoman edullisen ja hyvän kalaravintolan Furian. Pitkät jonot, mutta kyllä kannatti!

Then we took a taxi to explore Pula.First we found the old market hall, which was built like a replica of the old Eiffel Tower, and on the second floor we found the incredibly affordable and good fish restaurant Furia. Long queues, but it was worth it!

Tyytyväisinä kala-ateriaan lähdimme löntystelemään vanhan kaupungin läpi kohta Roomalaisten amfiteatteria. Matkalla löysimme upeasti säilyneen roomalaisen talon lattiamosaiikit, vanhan luostarin jonka patiolla kilpikonnat rouskuttelivat ruohoa ja upeota roomalaisten rakentamia kaupunginportteja.

Satisfied with our fish meal, we set off to wander through the old city, passing the Roman amphitheater. Along the way, we found the floor mosaics of a wonderfully preserved Roman house, an old monastery with tortoises munching on the grass in its patio, and magnificent city gates built by the Romans.

After a refreshing snack, we finally arrived at the Amphitheater on the other side of the old town.
