Pulasta lähdimme aikaisin aamulla kohti etelää pelätyn Kvaerner lahden ylitykseen.

Tuulta ei kuitenkaan saatu, joten moottoroitiin peilityynellä merellä. Matkalla nähtiin muutama delfiini ja kuollut kilpikonna.

From Pula we set off early in the morning towards the south to cross the dreaded Kvaerner Bay.

However, there was no wind, so we motored on the calm sea. On the way we saw a few dolphins and a dead turtle.

Ankkuroiduimme Unijen kylän edustalle. Hiekkapohja, mutta heti ohuen hiekkakerroksen alla oli kovaa kiveä johon ankkuri ei tarttunut. Vaihdoimme paikkaa pienen saaren ja rannan väliin jossa oli kunnolla hiekkaa. Kävin tarkastamassa ankkurin sukeltamalla.

We anchored in front of the village of Unije. Sandy bottom, but just under the thin layer of sand there was hard rock that the anchor did not grip. We changed places between a small island and a beach where there was a lot of sand. I went to check the anchor by diving.
